Introduction
Blood gas analysis is an important and common point of care test that can provide us with a lot of information very quickly to help our decision making. Importantly it is one of the only tests that can provide us with a pH, pCO2 and pO2, whilst the other information on the blood gas can often be supplemented by other investigations.
This presentation helps students identify the different patterns that can be seen on blood gas analysis.
